Serving

As Christians we take Christ as our example and look to serve one another in love.

Hero Color:   Cream
Hero Shape:   C

We are blessed with so many opportunities to use our gifts for the Lord’s service from playing and singing in the band, to working with the children and youth; practical help like serving coffee to pastoring and teaching the bible in a range of small groups.

Whatever your gifts, we know there’s a part you can play in the family so please get in touch.

Serving at Christmas

Will you play your part this Christmas? We’re looking for people to help in ways big and small as we invite many to experience the Saviour who came down to earth to serve and to save. There are many opportunities to get involved so please take a look at the roles available this Christmas and sign up to help wherever you can.

Serve at All Souls

We are really looking forward to seeing the church family back at All Souls in September 2021, and we are busy planning the restart of many face-to-face ministries. Whether you are new or returning to serve at All Souls, we are introducing a new Serving Partner recruitment process that will ensure everyone's safety.

As a first step, we are carrying out a serving partner survey and would be most grateful if you could complete the linked google form. Completing this form will also log your serving requests with the Serving Coordinator for follow up. Please note any information provided on forms will remain confidential to the church and will only be used to help rebuild our serving partner teams.

To find out more about serving, please send us an email: serving@allsouls.org.

Sunday Serving

There are a large array of practical areas you can get involved with on a Sunday; handing out service sheets, stewarding, selling books at our resources centre or being part of our street evangelism team to name a few. Whatever the area, if you’re interested in serving on a Sunday we’d really like to hear from you.

Find out more about Sundays at All Souls.

Leading a Life Group

Life Groups are a key part of All Souls family life, helping us to support and encourage one another in our lives as Christians in the heart of the city. If you’re interested in leading a bible study at one of our groups, we would love you to sign up to serve.

Children and Youth Ministry

We want to help children and young people to know Christ and grow in knowing him. We run a wide range of groups and activities for 0–18s, both on Sundays and during the week. If you're passionate about working with children and young people, teaching the bible and building good relationships with them, please sign up. (DBS checks will be required)

Student Ministry

If you have a passion for student mission work and want to see a generation of global students inspired to follow Jesus then please contact us and we can discuss how you can serve this great community.

Music Ministry

There are many opportunities for those with a talent and interest in music to use their gifts in service at All Souls on Sundays and midweek, but you don’t have to be musically trained to help either – support is also needed for Sunday services and special events. If this is an area you’re interested in, do please get in touch.

Committee and Board Members

All Souls Parochial Church Council (PCC) has a number of Committees that provide expert advice across a wide range of areas. The Committees are made up of church partners with relevant skills who help us in our vision to be All for Jesus.

A.S.L.A.N.

The All Souls Local Action Network works with homeless and vulnerably housed people in central London. There are lots of opportunities to volunteer throughout the week; from helping at the tea run and winter shelter, to making sandwiches and leading bible studies.

Free English Classes

Each Friday evening we welcome over 100 people into church to help develop their English skills, socialise and find out more about Jesus. Whether you’re fluent in another language or just have a passion for meeting new people and sharing the good news of Jesus with them, we’d love to hear from you.

Video: Serving at All Souls

One important commitment for Partners of All Souls is to serve Christ and one another.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
