Men’s Day

17 June, 10.00am–4.00pm
St Paul’s Robert Adam Street

Resolving Conflict

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:9 (NIV), “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”

Resolving conflict is not an easy thing to do. But it is good. Longstanding church family member, Dominic Hughes, will be helping us think through conflict resolution from a Christian perspective. Dominic's day job is a barrister and he says that one of the most important parts of his job is getting people to settle their disputes and avoid going to Court. The Bible has much to teach us on resolving all kinds of conflicts and arguments - whether amongst friends, acquaintances and within the Church.

The day will involve teaching from the Bible, time to ask questions and time to connect with one another in small groups. Doors open at 9.30am and refreshments will be provided throughout the day including a hot lunch (Indian meal). Cost of the day: £10.

All men are welcome, invite your friends.
