Mens breakfast Jan 2014

Real men deal with pressure.  They don't feel stress and meet expectations. Right?

In 2013 a survey of UK workers found that 35% were experiencing damaging levels of risk at work. And stress is not confined to the workplace. Whether dealing with others expectations or navigating London life stress is seemingly a norm of our everyday life.
But should life be like this? Does stress mean we are a poor Christian? How should we view and handle stress as godly men? How can we identify the causes and address the symptoms of stress whether in ourselves or in our brothers?
Adrian May will lead the Bible reflection and discussion about these issues at the next men’s breakfast on February 8th. Adrian is both a curate at St. Peter’s church Notting Hill, and works for a large multi-national company. Having worked across a number of sectors and in a range of companies from small consultancies to large FTSE 100 companies Adrian is particularly well placed to provide a biblical reflection on how to view, handle and treat both the causes and results of stressful lives.
With plenty of time to catch-up with old friends over a good breakfast and time to discuss the issue in small groups this is a great opportunity for fellowship and learning.
Booking is highly advisable by February 5th to ensure your place and food.
