World Mission
|
At the heart of World Mission at All Souls is the understanding that being part of God's work in the world is integral and foundational to our identity as God's people.
Our Aims
Together, we are aiming to:
-
Grow in Mission awareness: understanding God's mission to all nations and our commission to be part of it; thinking through what that means in today's world.
-
Be active in Mission mobilization: motivating, equipping and sending All Souls partners for both short and long term mission work.
-
Be generous in Mission support: providing prayer, financial and pastoral support for those we have commissioned to be All Souls mission partners as well as supporting other partner organizations and projects around the world.
World Mission Fund
Our giving to World Mission is separate from the All Souls general fund. It is used to fulfill our support commitments to more than 45 Mission Partners (£ 261,000 in 2011) and to make significant gifts to projects and organisations involved in a range of mission work worldwide. For more details on the World Mission Fund click here. For more details on the projects we support click here. One-off gifts can be made using the 'donate' button on this page. Regular donations can be made by standing order and can be gift aided. For more information, please fill out the form on the giving page or click here to find out about leaving a gift in your will. There are many things we can give as well as our finances. Click here for some ideas.
