Partnership at All Souls

We long to be a people who are all for Jesus because he is Lord of all and gave his all for us.

Reflect on what it means to be part of God’s wider church family, commit to the Gospel work happening through All Souls and encourage each other through serving together.

Partnership

We are committed to being All for Jesus. If All Souls is your home church, you can sign up to become an All Souls Partner – a commitment to pray, belong, serve and give, as your personal resources allow.

Electoral Roll

What is the Electoral Roll?
Quite simply, it is our church’s register of electors. In the same way that being on the civic Electoral Roll allows you to vote in parliamentary and local elections, joining the Church of England Electoral Roll, allows you to vote at the All Souls Annual Parish Church Meeting on church matters, including the election of the Parish Church Council (PCC) and Churchwardens. It also means you can stand for election to the PCC and the Deanery, Diocesan or General Synods. The Synods, together with the Bishops, are how the Church of England is governed. This is the basic list in every Church of England parish of all those entitled to vote on elections within that Church. In the same way that being on the civic Electoral Roll allows you to vote in parliamentary and local elections, joining the Church Electoral Roll means that you can vote on Church matters, attend the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) and stand for election to the PCC.

Who can join the Electoral Roll?
We invite anyone who calls All Souls their church to join the electoral roll. To be eligible to join you need to be regularly worshipping with us at All Souls for at least six months or live within the parish. You also need to be a member of the Church of England, or of a church in communion with the Church of England, have been baptised and over 16 years old.

The electoral roll is separate to All Souls partnership and you must fill in a different form for each. Paper copies of the form are available from the Connect Corner.
